PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for filling drinks wherewith the amount of air dissolved in a drink liquid is reduced and the quality of products be improved. SOLUTION: A drink filling apparatus equipped with a liquid valve 15 for opening and closing a filling liquid passage 21 connecting the inside of a filler tank 2 with the inside of a container 1 mounted a filling valve 6, a gas supply valve 10 for opening and closing a gas passage 23 connecting a vapor phase part 9 whereto an inert gas 20 is supplied in the filler tank 2 with the inside of the container 1, and an exhaust valve 11 for opening and closing an exhaust passge 24 connecting the inside of the container 1 with the outside is provided with a blower 13 serving as a suction means forcibly sucking the air inside the container toward the outlet side of the exhaust valve 11.
