The module has independent adjustable current supply with a rectifier circuit, which is present in a printed circuit board (PCB). The module is monitored on the PCB. A current supply (3) is separated from the main board of the computer, which accesses the module. The rectifier circuit (11) is connected to a current supply of the computer. The current is supplied from the module by the rectifier circuit as well as by the module. The rectifier circuit has a variable resistance (R9) for regulating the rectified power at a desired voltage, depending on the manufacturer of a memory, in the module.
