The compensation process, involves determining the phase error for each symbol, which is measured by the material phase value and compared with the ideal phase value. The phase error is more corrected as less the measured material phase value deviates from the ideal phase value. The probability density function of the phase error is determined. An independent claim is also included for a measurement receiving device, comprising similar mixer, an analog/digital transducer and a digital signal processor.
