<p>The connecting element (10) has connecting areas (40) and fixing area, formed for connecting rails (42) as well as fixing these rails at a body (16) of a vehicle . The connecting area is connected to rails and the fixing area is fixed to the body of the vehicle. One of the connecting areas has a reception (44) to partly receive one of the rails.
