<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance work operability and easiness in manufacturing and to reduce weight in a pipe joint for sealing by deforming sleeve bodies in confronting tapered wall surfaces arranged for a joint body and an operation member (a connecting body). <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint is structured by the joint body provided with a connection cylinder part 13 formed in the tapered wall surface 131 in an inner circumferential surface of an opening end part, the connecting body with an external fit part 21 tightly fit and externally inserted to an outer circumferential surface of the connection cylinder part and the tapered wall surface 221 and the sleeve bodies 3 for tightly adhering and pressing an outer circumferential surface of a connected pipe inserted in the joint body at both ends by being deformed by pressure as tightly adhering with respective tapered wall surfaces when the connecting body is externally fit to the joint body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
