<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen tip with a simple structure in which the rotation of a ball is smooth in the ball-point pen tip that has a ball seat. <P>SOLUTION: A tip main body has an ink circulating hole formed in the center of the bottom wall of a ball embracing chamber, and an ink circulating grooves extending radially from the ink circulating hole. A ball is inserted and placed in the bottom wall, and the leading end of the tip is caulked inside. Thereby, the ball is embraced so as to freely rotate with part of the ball projecting from the leading end edge of the tip. Thus, the ball-point pen tip is thus formed. In this ball-point pen tip, the ball seat substantially identical to the ball in shape is formed in the bottom wall.
