The present disclosure is related to the disinfection and purification of water for human use. The operation of the device is based on an acetic acid (CH3COOH) dosing unit for adjusting the amounts of acid needed for the water to be treated. Thus, due to its negative valence and with the presence of a positive valence of silver ions, they form a mixture, thereby creating the silver acetate (CH3COOAg), and extending the residual disinfectant effect of the silver ion to water, according to the physicochemical conditions of the water to be treated. The antifouling magnetic system that is part of the system, solves the biggest problem of electrolytic ion generating systems represented by the gradual inlaying of the electrodes by hardness particles in the solution, creating a magnetic field which is repelled by the positive signs, creating enough force for preventing the hardness particles in the solution from being embedded in the electrodes, thereby maintaining clean surfaces and the ele ctrolitic capacity to generate silver ions. |
