The invention relates to a control set on a handlebar-steered vehicle, which comprises a handlebar (1) to which is secured a controller (5) that comprises: a body (6) connected to the handlebar (1); a portion (19) for securing the body (6) to the handlebar (1); a control unit (7); input elements (8, 9, 10, 11, 12) for inputting data into the control unit (7); a communications unit (16), for the control unit (7) to communicate with input elements and signalling elements (13, 14, 15); a wireless communication module (17) in the communications unit (19), for the control unit (7) to communicate wirelessly with a portable electronic device (4); signalling elements (13, 14, 15) for indicating various events or statuses of the controller (5) and/or the portable electronic device (4); and a battery (18). The control set allows a portable electronic device to be wirelessly controlled without needing to release the handlebar (1).
