PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cartridge by which viscosity of a liquid in a storage chamber can be directly estimated.SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 30 is provided with: an ink chamber 36 in which ink is stored; a detected member 59 which has a float 63 of which specific gravity is smaller than the ink in the ink chamber 36 and can move between a detection position which is detectable from an outside of the ink cartridge 30 and a standby position which is undetectable; a second inner wall 44 which defines a space 154 for movement of the float 63 in the ink chamber 36; and a regulation member 88 which can move between a regulation position for regulating movement of the detected member 59 from the standby position and an allowable position for allowing the movement. The second inner wall 44 defines an opening 155 for communicating the space 154 and the ink chamber 36. When the regulation member 88 is moved to the allowable position, the float 63 moves in a direction away from the opening 155 and the detected member 59 moves from the standby position to the detection position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
