PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode improved in binding properties of a negative electrode active material that contains at least one element selected from Si and Sn, and thereby to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte electricity storage element improved in charge/discharge cycle performance.SOLUTION: In a negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte electricity storage element including a negative electrode active material and a binder, the negative electrode active material contains a metal simple substance, an alloy or a compound containing at least one element selected from Si and Sn, and the binder is a resin having a naphthyridine ring structure, or a resin having, in addition to a naphthyridine ring structure, a polyacrylonitrile structure or a polyacrylic acid (polymethacrylic acid) structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
