摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that has a long charging/discharging cycle lifetime by provided a layer containing organic fine particles and binder on an electrode.SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a porous electrode protection layer containing fine particles formed of organic material and resin binder is formed on the surface of a negative electrode and/or a positive electrode. The rate of the organic material particles ranges from not less than 60 wt% to not more than 98 wt% in the electrode protection layer. When the organic fine particles have a melting point, the melting point is equal to 100°C or more, and when the organic fine particles do have any melting point, the glass transition temperature is equal to 100°C or more. The film thickness of the electrode protection layer ranges from not less than 1.0 μm to not more than 10 μm, and the separator is a porous membrane having a thickness of 12 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
