PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a multilayered coating film (candy color coating film) having excellent coating film appearance with coating performance not inferior to a multilayered coating film obtained by a conventional coating method even if omitting intermediate coating.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for a multilayered coating film having a metallic base coating film formed by a metallic base coating material composition containing a coloring pigment (i) and a brilliant pigment (ii), a coloring base coating film formed by a coloring base coating material composition, and a clear coating film, where the coloring base coating material composition contains an acrylic resin (a), a melamine resin (b), a block isocyanate compound (c), a phosphoric acid compound (d) and a coloring pigment (e), the metallic base coating film has light transmittance in a wavelength range of 300 nm or more and 420 nm or less of 0.0001-0.1%, the coloring base coating film has light transmittance in a wavelength range of 300 nm or more and 420 nm or less of 20%-70%, and the coloring base coating film has dry film thickness after baking and curing of 21-40 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
