PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head driving device of which a cost and power consumption are low.SOLUTION: An ink jet head driving device has a pressure chamber, an actuator, a nozzle, and a drive signal output part. The pressure chamber accommodates a liquid. The actuator expands and contracts a volume of the pressure chamber according to an applied voltage. The nozzle is communicated with the pressure chamber and discharges the liquid by change in the volume of the pressure chamber. The drive signal output part outputs a drive signal of a drive waveform, which includes an initial ejection pulse having a first voltage amplitude and a second pulse onwards having a second voltage amplitude smaller the first voltage amplitude in the case repetition numbers of ejection pulse for discharging the liquid from the nozzle are three times or more, to the actuator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
