PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical shaft wind turbine and a wind collector which can perform wind power generation even when wind speed is low.SOLUTION: Wind collection plates are disposed around a vertical shaft wind turbine connected with a power generator, wind around the wind turbine is collected in the flowing direction into the wind turbine so as to increase the speed, thereby, the rotation of the wind turbine is increased and the number of rotations of the power generator connected with the wind turbine is increased. At the same time, the wind collecting plates arranged leeward of the wind turbine are wound in order to smoothly release the wind passing through the wind turbine so as to decrease the effect of the wind collection plates and, further, when wind speed of the wind converged by the wind collecting plates exceeds the rated number of rotations of the wind turbine, the area of the wind collecting plates arranged in the windward of the wind turbine is reduced and, thereby, the effect of the wind collecting plates can be decreased. |
