PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle improved in design of the ceiling of a passenger cabin.SOLUTION: A panel 10 is provided with a recessed surface part 11, and a protruding surface part 12 extending to the side of a passenger cabin 7 for the recessed surface part 11. The recessed surface part 11 and the protruding surface part 12 are regularly arranged side by side. The panel 10 is mounted on a framework 4a of a roof structure 4 to form the ceiling of the passenger cabin 7. Because the edge of the panel 10 is equivalent to the recessed surface part 11, a joint between the panels 10 can be installed on the recessed surface part 11. The recessed surface part 11 and the protruding surface part 12 are regularly arranged side by side and thereby the joint between the panels 10 is made unnoticeable so as to have effect to improve design of the ceiling and/or walls of the passenger cabin 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
