PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration device having excellent power-saving performance and suitable for a power-saving cooling operation.SOLUTION: An air conditioning system 1 includes: a compressor 11; a first outdoor heat exchanger 13; an indoor heat exchanger 31; a second outdoor heat exchanger 21; a pressure difference sensor 27 for detecting a pressure difference between a vapor phase and a liquid phase in the second outdoor heat exchanger 21; and a controller 50. The controller 50 switches an ordinary cooling operation for driving the compressor 11 to circulate a refrigerant in a first refrigerant circuit RC1 and a power-saving cooling operation for circulating the refrigerant in a second refrigerant circuit RC2 by utilizing an installation height difference between the second outdoor heat exchanger 21 and the indoor heat exchanger 31. The controller 50 switches the operation to a refrigerant moving operation for moving the refrigerant in the frist refrigerant circuit RC1 to the second refrigerant circuit RC2, determines whether the refrigerant moving operation is completed or not on the basis of a detection value of the pressure difference sensor 27, and switches the operation to the power-saving cooling operation after the completion of the refrigerant moving operation, in switching from an ordinary cooling mode to a power-saving cooling mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
