PURPOSE: A method for recording image signal and a device thereof is provided to simplify the structure of the cable and offer the device and method in which there is no need for additional equipment for motivating the image signal by motivating a plurality of clock pulse signal of the image signal. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of transmitting the image signal to a digital signal managing part(114) according to a clock signal; managing the image signal of the object into the digital image signal; making the second clock signal to make happen the vertical motivation signal of the motion picture camera in order to make the clock frequency of the recording device identical with the clock frequency of the motion picture camera and a step of motivating the image signal according to the starting packet signal of the clock routine.
