INFORMATION TERMINAL AND INFORMATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function of efficiently indicating the place of a photodetection part during optical communication with a mobile telephone.

SOLUTION: An information terminal 1 has a help button 5 and the user of the mobile telephone 2 presses the help button 5 of the information terminal 1 and inputs the type of the mobile telephone 2 when not knowing the place of a mobile-telephone side infrared-ray photodetection part 4 to display the place of the mobile-telephone side infrared-ray photodetection part 4 of the mobile telephone 2 on the screen. The user directs the mobile telephone 2 to the information terminal as instructed on the screen of the information terminal 1 to communicate. Further, the information terminal 1 when specifying the type of the mobile telephone 2 through the communication displays the type name of the mobile telephone 2 on the screen.
