PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high reliability in a laser module which has a semiconductor laser element, an optical fiber, and a condensing optical system which condenses a laser beam emitted from the semiconductor laser element and is combined with the incident end side of the optical fiber. SOLUTION: In the laser module 1, the semiconductor laser element LD arranged in a hermetically sealed CAN package 10, a lens 12, and an optical fiber 13 are disposed at the positional relation, in which the laser beam B emitted from the semiconductor laser element LD is condensed with the condenser lens 12 and converged in respect of the incident end side 14 of the optical fiber 13. The laser module includes a heater 17 as a temperature regulating means for maintaining the incident end side 14 of the optical fiber 13 to a predetermined temperature of the range of 50-200°C, and a temperature sensor 18 for detecting the temperature of the incident end side 14.
