RETRACTABLE BASE SYSTEM FOR ALL TYPES OF VOLLEYBALL UNIPOST

In any kind of volleyball post there is a base which slides into a socket in the floor holding the post upright and supporting it while being played on. However when the volleyball post is not in a socket on the floor this base protrudes from the bottom of the post and does not allow the post to stand vertically by by itself When putting the post into the socket in the ground the post must be positioned so that the base will slide squarely into the socket. When removing the post, the base (and entire post) must be pulled directly upward out of the socket and completely out of the ground before it can be wheeled away in the invention of the retractable base system, the base retracts telescopically into the post and so the entire volleyball post must not be lifted out of the ground but the base must be only manually slid upward into the post and locked in the up position. This invention requires the user only to slide the base up into the post or down into the socket using a handle attached to the base. By using the sliding base system, the entire volleyball post never needs to be lifted off of the ground making it much easier to install or remove the post into the socket in the floor Because the base slides into the post, the entire volleyball post can also be stored standing freely on its own
