<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which uses an RFID technology, does not need excessive arithmetic ability, and can perform identification (counting) of chips with practical accuracy and speed. <P>SOLUTION: The system transmits request signals to multiple chips positioned within a communication range of an antenna, receives response signals including identification information on the chip and multiple error detection codes, from the chip having received the request signals, generates multiple error detection codes from the identification information on the chip, and detects whether or not the received multiple error detection codes accord with the generated multiple error detection codes. When the system detects accordance of one pair of the error detection codes and discordance of another pair of the error detection codes, among the multiple pairs of the error detection codes, the system determines that the accordance of the one pair of the error detection codes of the chip is false recognition caused by the collision of the response signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
