<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic assembly machine for distal end parts of biopsy forceps permitting the assembly at stable cost without complicated work by automating the assembly of the distal end part of biopsy forceps, and a method of assembly of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic assembly machine includes a work conveying part 16 for conveying needle-like members and connection pins 5 to an assembly part 15; an image processing camera 57 for finding a first difference between the position of an insertion hole 3b2 set in a cup member 3 and a predetermined position to set the hole and a second difference between the position of a round hole 2c set in a cover member 2 and a predetermined position to set the hole; two cup conveying parts 18 for conveying a pair of the cup members 3 from the image processing camera 57 to the assembly part 15 based on the first difference; a cover conveying part 17 for conveying the cover member 2 from the image processing camera 57 to the assembly part 15 based on the second difference; and the assembly part 15 for connecting the pair of the cup members 3, one of the needle-like members including a needle member 4 and a needle-less member 6 and the cover member 2 with the connection pins 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
