<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of preventing the accumulation of chlorinated lime and efficiently cleaning an air heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump type water heater comprises a heat pump circuit 30, and a heating circulating circuit 25 having a hot water storage tank 7 for storing hot water, and constituted by connecting the hot water storage tank 7 and a hot water flow channel 33 of a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 27 by a forwarding-pipe 23 provided with a circulation pump 32 and a returning-pipe 24, the hot water at the bottom of the hot water storage tank 7 is circulated to the hot water flow channel 33 through the forwarding-pipe 23 to be heated, and the heated hot water of a high temperature is returned to an upper portion of the hot water storage tank 7 through the returning-pipe 24 to be successively circuited to boil up the hot water in the hot water storage tank 7. The circulation pump 32 is driven immediately after the termination of a boiling-up operation of the hot water to use the hot water remaining in the hot water flow channel 33 of the water-refrigerant heat exchanger 27 for cleaning the air heat exchanger 29 through a hot water guide pipe 37. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
