The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a high performance illite powder, and a method for cultivating tomatoes using the same. More particularly, the method for manufacturing a high performance illite powder obtains a high performance illite powder by sintering illite mineral including a large quantity of necessary cations (Si, K, Mg, Fe, Al, Ca, etc.) required to the growth and development of plants at the temperature of 400-1,000°C for 4-10 hours, and electrolyzing the resultant product with a voltage of 20,000-120,000 V. When the method for cultivating tomatoes and high performance illite organic farming materials are used to cultivate tomatoes, problems such as environmental contamination or the like which are generated by using a conventional chemical fertilizer can be reduced, and high quality tomatoes having drastically enhanced yield can be produced. |
