<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bead removing unit capable of easily positioning a bead removing tool with respect to tires of different kinds and different sizes during the bead removing work of the tire. <P>SOLUTION: The bead removing unit 1 of the tire exchanger includes one arm 2 which is rotatably related to a supporting structure 3, a bead removing tool 4 related to the arm, and a moving means 5 with the arm being related thereto, which is suitable for moving the arm from the releasing position at which the bead removing tool is substantially released and moved from a tire B having a wheel D to be bead-removed to the operating position at which the bead removing tool is engaged with the tire. The arm includes an adjusting means 9 which is suitable for adjusting the position of the bead removing tool according to the size and/or the kind of the wheel when the arm is at the release position, and capable of adjusting the position of the bead removing tool along the approaching/separating direction to/from the wheel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
