摘要 Provided is a photocatalyst device that can effectively apply light emitted from a light source to a photocatalyst filter and can suppress to within a desired range fluctuations of the photocatalyst effect over the entire surface of the photocatalyst filter. The photocatalyst device is provided with a hollow cylindrical photocatalyst filter 10, a black light 20 that is arranged in the internal space 12 of the photocatalyst filter 10, a cover 30 that is arranged on the outside of the photocatalyst filter 10 and that forms a lead-in flow passage 31 with the photocatalyst filter 10, a lead-out flow passage that communicates with the internal space 12, and a blower 50 that generates a flow of air in the lead-in flow passage 31, the internal space 12, and the lead-out flow passage. The cross-sectional area of the lead-in flow passage 31 is set so that the air flow speed is suppressed to within a predetermined range over the entire surface of the photocatalyst filter 10. During operation, after being introduced into the lead-in flow passage 31 between the photocatalyst filter 1 and the cover 30, air passes through the photocatalyst filter 1 to enter the internal space 12, and passes through the lead-out passage to be discharged to the outside.
