PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic image sonograph enabling a combination of set values to be set freely. SOLUTION: This apparatus has an ultrasonic observing part and an image processing part, and a system setting menu is provided at an operating terminal in the image processing part. The system setting menu is provided with a radial mode option and a helical mode option, and when the radial mode option is selected, for example, the screen of the setting menu for the radial mode is displayed to display a setting part for selecting the range of display and a setting part for an image weighting coefficient used in generating a composite image from a plurality of images. For example, values on display range buttons 33a-33f are increased or decreased by means of setting buttons 34a-34l and can be set at arbitrary values.
