PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of cooking delicious cooked rice by preventing generation of water drops in an inner pot. SOLUTION: In a rice cooker for cooking rice by controlling heating of an inner kettle 5 with gas by a controlling part 4, an electrically driven valve 7 the opening degree of which is adjusted by the control of a control part 4 is provided at an inner lid 6 for closing the kettle 5, a steam discharging fan 8 the number of the revolution of which is adjusted by the control of the part 4 is provided at an outer lid 2 positioned on the outside of the lid 6. At the time of finishing cooking of rice, the controlling part 4 opens the valve 7 and rotates the fan 8. A prescribed time later, the part 4 closes the valve 7 and stops the fan 8 several seconds after closing the valve 7.
