PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the central section in the lateral direction of the bottom plate of a cupboard from warping downward by fixing the cupboard to at least one of a side wall, a ceiling or an adjacent housing case of a room under a state wherein the lower surface of the rear section of the bottom plate of the cupboard is mounted on the upper surface of a supporting beam which is fixed to the side wall of the room in a manner to make the longitudinal direction face to the lateral direction of the side wall. SOLUTION: This hanging cupboard 10 has a main body 16 having right and left side plates 11, a top plate 12, a bottom plate 13, a back plate 14 and a front section end rail 15, and a door 17 which is horizontally rockably and openably provided with a hinge on the side plate 11. A supporting beam 5 is attached by fixing utensils 6 such as nails and screws to the upper section of a side wall 2 of a room 1 in a manner to make the longitudinal direction face to the lateral direction of the side wall 2. The hanging cupboard 10 is attached to the side wall 2 with a specified number of fixing utensils 6 while being placed on the side wall 2 of the room 1 under a state wherein the lower surface of the rear section of the bottom plate 13 is placed on the upper surface of the supporting beam 5. The hanging cupboard 10 may constitute one of entry housing units, one unit of a system kitchen of a dining room, or one of housing units of a room.
