PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce smell of shoes and foot due to the propagation of various bacteria or mold in the shoes, which shoes becomes stuffy by a method wherein a metal copper is attached mainly to a portion, around fingers, of the bottom of the shoes including a long sock where sweating occurs and various bacteria or mold tend to propagate, while the copper is attached to sides and top of the shoe as an auxiliary means. SOLUTION: A metal copper is attached mainly to the bottom of a shoe including a long sock, particularly to a portion where sweating occurs since if the shoe is put on, the shoe is closed and hence sweating occurs, and the copper is attached to the sides or top of the shoe as an auxiliary means. In the shoe provided with copper, copper ions are dissolved into the moisture of sweat from the copper, whereby sterilizing effects are produced against various bacteria or mold, which propagate by the aid of waste matters contained in sweat or components of the skin or socks under humid conditions. As a result, malodor generated by the propagation of bacterial or molds can be prevented. And by applying this method, a pleasant life can be created.
