<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a lock nut for an adapter in an arbitrary direction, which is used when attaching a roller bearing to the outer periphery of a shaft via an adapter sleeve. <P>SOLUTION: In the fixing structure of the lock nut for the adapter, an adapter sleeve 10 whose outer diameter surface 10a is tapered is fitted in the outer periphery of a shaft A, a male screw 11 and a cut and slit part 12 are formed at one end of the adapter sleeve 10, the inner bearing ring 2 of the roller bearing 1 is fitted in the outer periphery of the outer diameter surface 10a of the adapter sleeve 10, a lock nut 20 is screwed to the male screw 11 of the adapter sleeve 10 to regulate the axial movement of the roller bearing 1, and a detent means 30 is disposed between the adapter sleeve 10 and the lock nut 20. The detent means 30 is pressed to an outer peripheral surface 20a in the arbitrary axial direction of the lock nut 20 in a state of being inserted into the cut and slit part 12 of the adapter sleeve 10, thereby rotation of the lock nut 20 with respect to the adapter sleeve 10 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
