PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a resonance phenomenon produced by the electrical connection of facing metal casings of units in a digital combination machine composed at least of an image reading section unit, an image printing section unit, and an operating section unit.

SOLUTION: A cable to transmit a fast signal of 100 KHz or higher fixedly arranged to one unit or a cable connected to a controller board having a circuit system operating at a frequency of 10 MHz or higher is provided on the surface different from the surfaces formed of facing metal casings between the units. Consequently a radiation noise at a specific frequency caused by a parallel flat plate resonance phenomenon of facing metal casings can be significantly reduced without causing troublesome work by adding countermeasure members and without increasing manufacturing costs.
