INDEX STRUCTURE OF METADATA, METHOD FOR PROVIDING INDEX OF METADATA, AND METADATA SEARCH METHOD AND APPARATUS USING INDEX OF METADATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for searching metadata using indices of the metadata capable of promptly searching information regarding contents and an apparatus for searching for the metadata using the same.

SOLUTION: An index structure of metadata provided for searching for information on contents, a method for providing indices of the metadata, and a method and an apparatus for searching for the metadata using the index structure of the metadata are provided. The index structure of the metadata to be provided for searching for information on contents regarding one embodiment of this invention includes a list of keys composed of predetermined fields of the metadata, wherein at least a part of the location information is expressed as predetermined code. By this invention, further prompt search is performed.
