PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve foaming properties of a cleaning solution during cleaning operation and to form a water-repellent film after the cleaning when the cleaning operation is performed by using a base fabric such as a cloth impregnated with a liquid cleaning solution. SOLUTION: The base fabric for cleaning is impregnated with the cleaning solution. The amount of the impregnated cleaning solution is≥2.5 times that of the weight of the base fabric. A principal ingredient of the cleaning solution is a silicone emulsion comprising an alkyl glucoside-based nonionic surfactant, a quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactant and a trimethylsiloxysilic acid.
