PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the whole recording rate from falling off when performing recording by two or more continuous drive units. SOLUTION: An inkjet head 1 comprises an actuator unit which inserts a piezoelectric sheet with an individual electrode and a ground electrode which are related with a nozzle and a driver IC 52 which outputs a drive signal to a discrete electrode. When the temperature of the driver IC 52 becomes higher than Toff after performing a printing processing to a paper, a stop section 66 stops the drive of the driver IC 52. Then, a raising temperature forecasting section 67 anticipates the raising temperature of the driver IC 52 when performing a printing processing to a following sheet of paper, then a resumption section 68 decides a resumption temperature Ton below a temperature which is an upper limit temperature Toff minus a raising temperature. Further, when the temperature of the driver IC 52 turns into the resumption temperature Ton, the resumption section 68 makes the drive of the driver IC 52 resume. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
