PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile head joint structure which can reduce the degree of fixing of a pile joint portion without carrying out unbond processing, and to provide a joint member for use in the pile head joint structure. SOLUTION: The joint member 1 comprises an end plate 2 and an anchor bolt 3 erected on the end plate. The pile head joint structure 4 is formed by arranging the end plate 2 on a head 6 (hereinafter referred to as a pile head 6) of a pile 5 that is a PHC pile, and embedding the anchor bolt 3 in a foundation beam 9 that is a foundation member of an upper structure 8 borne by the pile 5. By virtue of the formation, at the time of an earthquake, when a horizontal power is imposed on the pile head 6 from the upper structure 9, the end plate 2 undergoes out-of-plane bending and deformation, which accordingly generates rotational distortion at the pile head 6.
