PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide non-flammable paper capable of passing the heat-generation test of a non-flammable material by clarifying the particle size and content of sepiolite, the range of length of a glass fiber and the optimal blending ratio of pulp, and also having a smooth surface capable of easily printing characters or patterns. SOLUTION: This non-flammable paper 5 is provided by containing 80.0 wt.% sepiolite 3, 5.0 wt.% glass fiber 6, 10.0 wt.% pulp 4 and 5.0 wt.% binders, having an extremely excellent non-flammability and passing as the non-flammable material by showing only 0.8 MJ heat generation on reaching to 600°C on heating for 20 min in the heat generation test of the non-flammable material and holding its shape without having crack even having only 0.25 mm thickness. Further, by using the glass fiber 6 within a range of 1 to 3 mm, the glass fiber 6, sepiolite 3 and pulp 4 can be filled densely, as a result, the surface of the non-flammable paper 5 becomes smooth, and the printing of the characters and patterns can be performed easily and beautifully.
