PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld joint for a fuel tank having a weld portion for being to be welded to a resin fuel tank with stable and sufficient welding strength even in the case of structuring at least the weld portion by using a resin alloy material obtained by alloying a modified HDPE (high density polyethylene) alone, or alloying HDPE with EVOH (Ethylene Vinyl alcohol Copolymer). SOLUTION: The weld joint 2 to be integrated with a rim portion of an opening of the fuel tank by thermal welding is structured by using a resin alloy material of EVOH with a modified HDPE, and the whole of a tip of the weld portion 16 on the fuel tank side is structured of a highly-weldable layer 34 made of a HDPE resin having good weldability, and the weld portion 16 is welded to the fuel tank in the highly-weldable layer 34 part.
