<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect that a card is properly mounted and a cover is closed even when having a structure that allows the card to be mounted to a mounting part of housing. <P>SOLUTION: A card connector 1 includes: a housing 2, which has each contact 204b connected with a card and a mounting part for mounting each contact 204b and the card; and a cover 3 that is rotatably and slidably attached to the housing 2 and locked to the housing 2 when moved to a prescribed position with rotation and sliding. The housing 2 has a first switch mechanism 211 operated by the card, and a second switch mechanism 212 operated by the cover 3. When the cover 3 is locked to the housing 2 by rotating and sliding the cover while the card is being mounted to the mounting part of the housing 2, the first switch mechanism 211 and the second switch mechanism 212 are turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
