<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module, along with a method for producing the same, capable of arranging light-reflecting optical components and light transmissive optical component close together, and capable of fulfilling requirements relating to substrate characteristics, even if the requirements are contradicted by the optical component. <P>SOLUTION: The optical module includes: a first plate-shaped member 10 having the light transmissive optical component 12 formed by etching a silicon area 11; and a second plate-shaped member 20 having the light-reflecting optical components (mirrors 21-24) that reflect light passing through the light transmissive optical component 12. The first and second plate-shaped members 10 and 20 are joined together and an optical path for the light that passes through the light transmissive optical component 12 follows a component-forming surface of the first plate-shaped member 10 and a main surface of the second plate-shaped member 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
