PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire for an airplane which can exhibit the abrasion proof performance and pressure resistance performance of a shoulder area of a tread.SOLUTION: While arranging each of a main belt 7 and a sub belt 8 in a crown area outside a carcass sequentially from a radial inner side and forming the main belt 7 by a plurality of belt layers of an organic fiber code which is prolonged along the tire circumference, its number of lamination is gradually decreased from the central area to a side area of the tread 3. The ratio (L/A) of the extension length (L) per the wavelength (A) of the organic fiber code of the belt layer at 85% position of the tread grounding width TW is to meet 0.98x(Rcen/Rsho) <L/A<(Rsho4)/(Rsho). Rcen: tread radius (mm) at the tread center position Rsho: grounding face of radius (mm) at 85% position of the same position: Rsho4: Tread radius (mm) at 85% position of the same position at 4 times of the regular inside pressure. |
