1. A stationary exercise apparatus, comprising:
a frame having a front portion and a rear portion; first and second substantially rigid supporting members, each supporting member having a first end portion and a second end portion, where each first end portion is operatively engaged with the frame to rotate completely about a first axis; first and second pedals respectively operatively engaged with the first and second supporting members at a location between the first end portion and the second end portion; a guider operatively engaged with the rear portion of the frame, the second end portions of the first and second supporting members are operatively engaged with the guider for movement along a substantially reciprocating path, and the reciprocating path defines an adjustable incline angle; and an adjusting assembly having a portion operatively engaged with the guider to adjust the incline angle of the guider.
