<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst composition for oxychlorination excellent in flowability, suppression of reduction of flowability and wearing-resistance and excellent in an activity, selectivity of EDC and suppression of ethylene burning. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst composition for oxychlorination comprises silica-alumina particle in a range of 5-40 wt.% as an oxide, copper in a range of 5-20 wt.% as an oxide (CuO), and a carrier alumina in a range of 40-90 wt.% as Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>. The silica-alumina particle is a particle in which the silica particle is covered with alumina. The average particle diameter is in a range of 3-100 nm, and content of alumina in the silica-alumina particle is within a range of 0.1-10 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
