PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device which has long-term sufficient sealing performance even in an environment that foreign matters such as rain water and muddy water exist in large amounts, and is improved in low torque, and a wheel bearing device having the same.SOLUTION: In a sealing device 16 in which a sealing member 13 is formed while inclining to the outside of a radial direction, and which comprises a pair of side lips 13a, 13b, the sealing device comprises a cylindrical extension part 17a which extends to an axial direction from an outer edge of an erecting plate part 11b of a slinger 11, the extension part and an end part of the sealing plate 10 are made to oppose each other via a clearance δ in the radial direction, thus forming a labyrinth seal S3, the side lip 13b at an inside diameter side out of a pair of the side lips is slide-contacts with a side face of the erecting plate part 11b via interference, a bent part 14 which extends to the outside of the radial direction along the side face of the erecting plate part 11b is integrally arranged at a tip of the side lip 13a at an outside diameter side, and L-shaped labyrinth seals S2, S4 are formed of the bent part 14, the side face of the erecting plate part 11b and the extension part 17a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
