PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapping material for a battery having excellent moldability, in which pinhole and cracking are less likely to occur while molding.SOLUTION: A wrapping material for a battery consists of a laminate laminating at least a base material layer 1 containing nylon, a metal layer 3, and a sealant layer, in order. The ratio (A/B) of the piercing strength A, measured by a method conforming to the rule of JIS Z1707:1997 of the base material layer 1, to the thickness B of the base material layer 1 is 0.92 N/μm or more. The surface of the metal layer 3 consisting of an aluminum foil, or the like, is preferably subjected to chemical conversion treatment for forming an acid-resistant coating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
