A charging system, comprising a power supply rail and a current collector. The current collector comprises a current collection head and a current collection head drive mechanism. The power supply rail is located beside a position over a vehicle at a charging position, and comprises a vertical insulated substrate and a plurality of power supply electrodes integrated on the side face thereof. The power supply electrodes are distributed in parallel at intervals in an up-down direction. The current collection head drive mechanism drives the current collection head to have a vertical lifting stroke and a transverse movement stroke. Current collection electrodes of the current collection head are located on the outer side thereof in a transverse movement direction and are distributed in parallel at intervals in the up-down direction. The charging system allows a relatively large parking position deviation so as to facilitate vehicle operation, has a heavy-current conducting capability and a reliable insulating property, facilitates accurate and stable current collection locating of a current collection head and a power supply rail while maintaining a safe distance between the charging system and pedestrians, guarantees safe and normal running of vehicles, and is particularly suitable for modern energy-storing electric buses. |
