PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device which can reduce power consumption and provide a signal processing circuit using the above-described storage device.

SOLUTION: A storage element in which a phase reversal element such as an inverter and a clocked inverter that outputs an input signal by inverting a phase of the input signal is used, comprises a capacitative element for holding data and a switching element controlling storage and discharge of electric charge in the capacitative element. For example, one electrode of the capacitative element is connected with an input or an output of the phase reversal element and another electrode is connected with the switching element. The above-described storage element is used for a storage device such as a register and a cache memory that the signal processing circuit has.
