Determining detection time point in pre-equalized data signals from sender using one or more transmission channels

The transmitter coacts with a receiver and a channel information device provides channel pulse words. A data processor for evaluating the channel pulse words is included. An optimum detection time point (DZP) can be determined by the data processor, based on the channel pulse words. The transmitter power can be estimated and the detection time point accordingly adjusted by the data processor w.r.t. channel pulse words. Independent claims are included for method of transmission of pre-equalized signals over one or several transmission channels.
