METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMPRESSING VIDEO-PACKET CODED VIDEO DATA

The digital video coding process has an error masking algorithm. There is a step of coding of digital video (1) arranged in packets. The binary train (2) is reduced suppressing some video packets. The masking error algorithm is effected (3) calculating the local decoded degraded image. A step of validation (4) is carried out to select the desired image quality. The validation process is repeated with the selection process until the required quality level is achieved.
