<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a coordinate offset without generating an error by diffuse reflection or disturbance light. <P>SOLUTION: A cartridge sensor shaft 112 is butted near a positioning hole 111, and this is moved toward the positioning hole 111. A coordinate offset error is calculated based on a difference between the moving distance of the cartridge sensor shaft 112 from the butting to the entry into the positioning hole 111 and the predicted moving distance, and the coordinate offset is adjusted based on this error. To reduce measuring errors, butting is performed from both sides of the positioning hole, a movement is made, and the edge position of the positioning hole 111 is detected, and the error of the coordinate offset is calculated based on two moving distances and two predicted moving distances. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
